Suraj Mani, The Singing Sensei frontman of the band has announced his retirement due to illness! Few hours back the band posted about his retirement on their Facebook Fan Page. For the last time people will get to see him with Motherjane on 3rd december in Delhi.
Here’s the excerpt from their page:
It is with great sadness that I announce that I have been experiencing intense pain after shows and after getting to the root of it, I’m left facing a damaged backbone and possible surgery. I’m on painkillers, physiotherapy and numb with the realization that December 3rd Delhi will be my last live performance for an extended period due to the serious nature of this injury. I have told my Motherjane family they need to begin the search for my replacement as the music of Motherjane is meant to be experienced live. I can only trust in God & His plans for me, I will be continuing my writing and composing as music will always be a part of my life. Love you all. Always have Always will Suraj Mani.
Unholy Maunder team wishes Suraj Mani a very speedy recovery.
