After their successful release of both sets we asked Zivon Gurung about the response and he quoted "Well talking about response this has turned out pretty big. This was never expected. The main idea was to bridge the gap, which otherwise is scattered, between the south Asian scene but the response was incredibly overwhelming as you can see we have around 60 bands from 4 different continents covering more than 12 countries. All thanks to our friends and supporters for spreading the words. We are grateful to them. My initial expectation was to get 15 odd bands from Nepal, Northeast India and other part of South Asia"
He added "Everything happened so quickly. Last couple of weeks I was busy downloading all the songs sent to me for the release. I wanted to cover all possible bands (regardless of race, culture and below par recordings) as this is not a commercial release and believe me most of the bands have the capacity to make it big if they choose the right options and work hard. We wish all the bands very best of luck."
