Symphonic Black Metal outfit from Singapore/Nepal Kalodin is playing in Northeast India this 25th (June, 2011). They are playing in "METAL MAYHEM I" which is to be organized in Cafe Live and Loud in Gangtok by "Defenders' Of Metal, Darjeeling". Groove Metallers "Dark Murder Scheme" from Darjeeling is also playing with the headlined band.
After the Gangtok show they're (Kalodin) playing in Guwahati on 28th June with Technical Deathcore band "DOTH, Guwahati" which is too be organized jointly by Rocka Rolla Cafe, Guwahati and DOM, Darjeeling.
Talking about Kalodin, with one quarter of the band hailing from the tiny island of Singapore, and the remaining of the members hailing from Nepal, KALODIN's lineup is sure a unique one. The band was formed back in 2006 and last year they introduced the world with their debut full length album "The Bestial Ritualism of Harlotry".
Quoting to the local media Hozo Morphine said that this show is organized to promote metal bands from Darjeeling, Sikkim, North-East and Nepal. Note that "Defenders' Of Metal" is organizing the biggest metal fest in India this Sept-Oct.
Whether Rocka Rolla Cafe of Guwahati is known for one of the best annual rock fest of Northeast India that is "Fireball".
