The much awaited Extended Play (EP) of the year ‘Painted Dreams’ by Alobo Naga & The Band was launched at Hiyo’s Café, Dimapur today. The 4 song EP ‘Painted Dreams’ is supported by SPIRIT UNDERGROUND, VH1 India Rules, Unicornis Movement (U.M) Pro Records, Creovaent Productions and Artist Aloud.

The band ‘Alobo Naga & The Band’ is endorsed by corporate like Spirit Underground and the company has supported the band fully in coming out with the album along with promoting. The album will be distributed all over India by Unicornis Movement (U.M) Pro Records and will be globally digitally distributed by Artistaloud.com & Creovaent Productions Brand Management. The band has already started the pre-promotional ‘Painted Dreams’ tours this year at various cities across India like New Delhi, Gurgaon, Noida, Kolkata and Hyderabad. The song ‘Painted Dreams’ became a huge hit among the masses nationally when the video single reached the Top 4 position in the global chartbusters of International Channel VH1. The song was placed behind International heavyweights like Superheavy, Lady Gaga and the like.

The band Alobo Naga & The Band became the first band from North-East India and India to enter the VH1 International Chart Busters. The song ‘Painted Dreams’ was the official theme song of 1^st Guwahati International Short Film Festival 2011 and the video was conceptualized & produced by Creovaent Productions, Guwahati and the video is directed by Prithish & Puja Chakraborty.

The album has songs with varied mood and has four tracks Free, Painted Dreams, The End & Colour My World. The entire songs has been produced & composed by the band. Recently, the hit video single ‘Painted Dreams’ was awarded Rock Song Of The Year at Nagaland Music Video Award.
