Major influences: Our major influences would be Meshuggah, Lamb Of God , Decapitated, Gojira, pantera .
Tell us about your song: Talking about the song ,“Slaughtered For Sanctity”. This is our debut single, which was recorded and produced by Vivek Thomas Production which is located in Trivandrum, (Kerala). We had 3 originals in our hand when we decided to record our debut single . Through various discussions we all came to the conclusion of recording “Slaughtered For Sanctity”. We all came to this conclusion just because of the fact that this song is a mixture of grooves and technical pieces put together or in other words you can describe this song as a attempt of experimentalism by four guys to blow everyones brains out hahahaha. The ideology behind the song revolves around the 'lack of conformance' with which mankind has architected his so called socio-political world through the last 2500 years ever since the great spiritual and philosophical renaissance of Greek and Buddhist era and all spiritual accomplishments before that. And how the modern age ever since the great industrialization and birth of capitalism ,has further reconstructed the very pillars of humane existence often distorting and mutilating greater ideas like religion,community,power,apathy etc.
The song talks about how our current social and religious systems are constructed as replicas of 'abattoir' where everything sacred about our existence is slaughtered in the name of greater good for hedonistic sanctity! Power corrupts even the noblest of souls and inspires man to reinterpret everything that's held sacred for personal sensual gratification. we are often reduced to mere spectators as the world is 'Slaughtered For Sanctity'!
What do you think about the metal scene in India: The metal scene in India has changed drastically over the years. Event management companies are now actually taking interest in organizing metal gigs almost every weekend eighter be it in a pub or open air .But this is a positive sign , showing that metal cult has got a strong base in India. Apart from these gigs , shows like, Great Indian Rock ,Deccan Rock ,Summer Storm and October pub fest does prove to attract the nations metalheads . The amount of people turning up for all these events show's us and tells the metal scene in India . And now that some of the Indian bands (Bhayanak Maut, eccentric pendulam, etc.) has actually been invited and played at international fest such as Inferno and Waken Open Air (W.O.A) ,the world is actually coming into a realization that Metal is very much prominent in India and I really do hope that more Indian metal bands get opportunities like this .
What are your future plans: After a decent response of our debut single ,we are in discussion of getting into studios sometime next year and bring out an EP, probably consisting of 5 tracks . We are presently writing materials and composing some new stuffs for it too. We might even record a single before the EP. So thats up in the future for us .
How do you describe your genre: We like to call ourself as an Experimental Metal band , cause we tend to experiment a lot with our music and sound. So people don't expect every single of our song to be of the same sound ,cause it will never be like that . I can promise you one thing , you wont be disappointed !
Tell us about the metal scene in Cochin: To be frank ,there ain't much of a metal scene here. One of our greatest influence to form the band was from the only Death Metal band ,War Horse Chained . There are many metal bands in Cochin like Redemption,Darkest Red to name a few . Cochin lacks in frequent gigs .The only gigs in Cochin are the gigs organized by different college's . But some of the people are trying hard to change this ,(Vivek Chiramel of War Horse Chained ) has started a company called Moshpit gore concerts to promote metal music . Metal cult and metalheads are very much prominent in Cochin ,we can say to some extend that, especially the youth of Cochin are addicted to metal music .

We belong to an age of social and spiritual turmoil and our lifestyles often represent the face of modern youth, in both its grandeur and debility. But our Music is clearly a representation of our ideologies and not our vanities and both our music and musicology derives its inspiration from not the way we believe the world ought to be ! Music for us is a higher form of worship and it often elevates us from the substratum in which we reside within the perils of this world.
